We’ve got a great meeting planned for you; one you won’t want to miss.
The agenda includes:
1) The date is Tuesday April 19th. Start by visiting the convention center in the morning to see all the new products and seminars
2) Our LVVA Meeting hosted by Sony & B&H Photovideo will start PROMPTLY at 2;45 PM in Bronze Rooms 3 & 4 at Bally's.
*In our own private session, learn all about the features of Sony's HDV camcorder and now you can use it as an extremely high quality camcorder able to record and export to not only HDV but DVCAM, learn about current HDV editing systems, the status of pending delivery formats and so much more. Seating on this is limited so if you haven't, RSVP as soon as possible to creators@computer.net
2) Then from 5PM to 11PM the WEVA Town Meeting is at Harrahs where representatives from Sony, Adobe and others will provide demonstrations, tips and techniques. It's free and they'll be a free dinner but you must register on wwww.weva.com for the Las Vegas Town Meeting. Hurry registration closes soon.
This a day you won't want to miss any part of.

NEW CITY THEATRE
We've got Josh Sofer with a wonderful offer for videographers to enjoy and use his facilities as part of being a member of the LVVA. Below is Josh's generous offering:
"In order to do it's part in promoting independent film and other videography projects of interest to the LVVA, the New City Theatre is offering the use of the theatre free of charge for auditions, short run projects, and/or meetings to all members of the LVVA.
The theatre is a nicely appointed and fully equipped seating 120 people. It has a 20' x 33' raised proscenium stage and a professional lighting and sound system Our staff will be glad to manage the flow of individuals when the space is used for auditions.
The theatre may be used for auditions by appointment or open calls. In addition the NCT maintains an extensive portfolio on many actors and will make these available to members. Postings for auditions will be placed on our web site and bulletin boards inside the theatre.
It is our goal to create a no cost professional casting center that we all can benefit from. In addition all members of the LVVA will receive complimentary tickets to all productions here at the theatre (reservations required).
In late September we will also be opening a late night comedy club and members will also receive free tickets to any performance."
